Lenox Bed & Breakfasts

This mansion was built to entertain Gilded Age guests and has a three-story suspended grand staircase, eight crystal sconces in the living room and a 1930s family heirloom bar. Breakfast is served by candlelight. Nearly all of the rooms have fireplaces, seven have Jacuzzis and two have antique claw-foot soaking tubs.

Elm Court features four luxurious suites that are individually decorated. The 90-acre estate has been in the same family for six generations and has recently re-opened as a spectacular place for an overnight stay or for a wedding or other private function. Elm Court is the largest American shingle-style house in the United States and features 106 rooms. Guests enjoy the complimentary morning breakfast and the option of formal dining in either the dining room or in the guest rooms. All rooms feature fireplaces and many have Jacuzzi tubs.

Stonover Farm is a luxury bed and breakfast that is a short walk from Tanglewood. The farm features a large cottage that once served as a farmhouse to the Stonover Estate. Guest accommodations are available in the main house, which features three suites, and the Rock Cottage. The homes have a maximum combined capacity of six to eight guests, which contributes to the relaxing atmosphere that Stonover Farm offers.

This posh, stately home has three rooms, each with private bath and air conditioning. The decor is stout Victorian and the house features a lanai, library, living room and breakfast room, all laden with antiques. A continental breakfast, fully-stocked library and grand piano is also available.

Harrison House is a country inn that is situated on a hill overlooking Tanglewood. The inn features five themed guest rooms, each featuring air conditioning, private baths, fireplaces and television. A full buffet breakfast is served each morning. Kennedy Park is located across from the inn, making it an ideal choice of accommodation for hikers.

The Chesapeake Inn of Lenox features four guest rooms, each with a private bath, high-speed Internet access and air conditioning. Visitors enjoy the full breakfast that is included with the room and the complimentary barbeque that occurs every Saturday night during the summer. An outdoor swimming pool is also found at the inn. Tanglewood is just one-quarter mile from the inn, while downtown Lenox is just one mile.

The Birchwood Inn is a Colonial Revival bed and breakfast lodging that was built in 1767. Visitors enjoy the charming atmosphere, as well as the antiques, collectibles, featherbeds, quilts and down comforters that adorn the guest rooms.

Located in a historic 1890s mansion, Cliffwood Inn offers seven individually decorated guest rooms, each with a private bath and most with fireplaces. The inn also features an outdoor swimming pool and a practice green.
